This video shows you the basics on the different tools in illustrator, I've used this program before, however it shows you how to zoom, how to scale shapes, make shapes, lines, add points. Along with that it shows you a brush tool and you can choose different brushes for shapes or lettering.

Along with the last this shows you many of the different buttons, including, how to duplicate an art board using alt, control, shift, to duplicate a piece of art, you can delete the art on the duplicate or delete it simply by pressing it and clicking delete, you can make as many as you would like. Along with that you can adjust the sides by dragging from the corner.

This video shows you all about the toolbar in adobe illustrator. There is a pin tool, with this tool you can create and edit different anchor points and paths, this tool is important. And should be easy to use.
